About the trail
Fairyland Loop drops below the rim into Bryce Canyon's least-trafficked amphitheater. The trail weaves between hoodoo spires, passes the photogenic Tower Bridge, and climbs back to the rim with constant views into the Pink Cliffs. It connects Fairyland Point and Sunrise Point along the rim.

Turn-by-turn route
- Park at Fairyland Point (1 mile north of the park entrance station, before the fee booth).
- Descend the trail counterclockwise into the canyon.
- Continue past Tower Bridge at 1.5 miles.
- Climb out via the Sunrise Point switchbacks.
- Walk the Rim Trail 2.5 miles back to Fairyland Point.
Parking
Fairyland Point — uncrowded compared to Sunrise/Sunset overlooks.
Tips from the trail
- Hike clockwise (Sunrise first) to save the steepest climb for early in the day.
- Almost no shade — start at sunrise in summer.
- Carry 3 liters; no water on the loop.
