About the trail
Delicate Arch is the symbol of Utah. The trail leaves Wolfe Ranch, crosses Salt Wash on a footbridge, and climbs a vast slickrock slab marked by cairns. The final approach hugs a narrow rock ledge that opens dramatically onto the arch and the La Sal Mountains beyond. Time the hike for the hour before sunset and the arch glows like fire.
