About the trail

This loop links the two most famous waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. Climb the paved Multnomah Falls switchbacks to the top of the 620-foot two-tier cataract, traverse the ridge past Wiesendanger and Ecola Falls, then descend Wahkeena Trail past Fairy and Wahkeena Falls. The forest is dripping moss and old-growth Douglas fir.
